METHOD
  1. De-vein prawns. Wash well and drain thoroughly.
  2. Place prawns, garlic paste, garlic cloves, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well adding salt to taste.
  3. Also add the onion, capsicum and carrot rings and allow to marinate for ten to fifteen minutes. Arrange two prawns, one garlic clove and
  4.  a spoonful of vegetables on a six inch x six inch square aluminium foil. Bring the four corners of the foil to the centre and twist them to make a potli or packet.
  5. Make similar packets with remaining prawns.
  6. Cook on live charcoal for eight to ten minutes.
  7. Transfer onto a serving dish and serve garnished with lemon wedges.
If you want to cook in Microwave oven then use grill option and don't use that aluminium foil  , i'll try this week end...

Oh my God! It looks so yummy. But I cannot make or eat it as I am a vegetarian for a few months. If after the period I am still interested in non-vegetarian I might think of this! :-)

I have never cooked prawns in my life :( And i dont know how to clean them either :( Shame on me coz I am from a coastal region.
I would love to try this out, with some help from a cooking pro like you. You will need to teach me the basics first.

Hey Preethi, if you 'll take it from some shops where they 'll clean ...then it'll be easier for you ...as i also take those from some shopping Malls where they just clean and give me ...i hope u are in bangalore...so you can get those and yes in home you just clean in tap water and add turmeric + salt to taste and marinate for 10-15 min and after that procedure is same...try this dear ...hope you'll like it's taste...i 've tried and all my family members liked ...:)
